The RMOW is currently working to modernize its outdated building and plumbing bylaw using the using the Municipal Insurance Association of British Columbia (MIABC) model core as a template. In addition, we are developing a separate fees and charges bylaw. Learn about the proposed fees and charges bylaw, which will change the way that we calculate building permit fees to provide more consistency, transparency, and fairness, while recognizing the complexity of many building projects in Whistler.
